ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the Erasmus+ programme

ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. international (EU and non-EU) strategy

As an integral part of the transnational business school dedicated to European management education for more than 40 years, we at ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. seek to attract outstanding international students (EU and non-EU) for our Bachelor-, Master-, Executive and PhD-programs, to establish long-term academic and research cooperation with international partners and improve mobility of students, faculty and staff.

Building links with selected international partners enables the ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. to sharpen its international profile and enhance mobility opportunities for students, faculty and staff. To achieve this we encourage and actively develop collaborative international partnerships with leading academic and research institutions as well as industry partners. Being committed to ensuring the high-quality of offered programs, we pay especial attention to excellence, matching profiles, cooperation possibilities in teaching and research as well as accreditation of our cooperation partners.

As a part of the truly European business school with urban campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, Turin und Warsaw, ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. encourages partnerships and cooperation activities with the geographical focus on Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North Amerika, South America and Africa. While maintaining our existing geographical priorities, we remain open to new cooperation opportunities.

By establishing cross-border cooperation ties, the ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. seeks to foster international student mobility and widen the range of the opportunities offered to its students in degree programs at all educational levels in form of exchange and double-degree programs (integral or optional credit mobility). We are also dedicated to promoting mobility of academic and administrative staff for exchange of experience and good practices.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. supports and develops Double-Degree Programs to ensure degree recognition in the partner-countries and to increase the employability of its graduates. Employability and better chances on the labor market are addressed through international internships and company placements integrated in program curricula. They allow our students to gather valuable international hands-on experience in their field of study.

ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V.  strategy for the organisation and implementation of international (EU and non-EU) cooperation projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. is actively involved in international academic and research cooperation projects that are embedded in the strategy of the school and aim at internationalization of teaching and research. Our Campus has already successfully participated in Life Long Program (LLP) and continues its international activities and engagement in the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program. Our faculty is especially involved in Key Action 2 “Strategic Partnerships” and currently implements a number of research cooperation projects that significantly contribute to building of the international research networks.

To encourage the participation of our researchers in the European projects, staff of the Research Department offers regular information sessions dedicated to ERASMUS+ Program, in order to increase involvement and participation in international projects and to improve teaching/research staff mobility. The Research Department provides counselling to all interested members of the faculty about the submission/application requirements and proposal writing. In implementation of international projects the involved research teams become administrative support from the Dean’s Office, Research and Accounting Department.

Expected impact on the modernization of ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. through participation in the Erasmus+ Programme.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. supports EU Modernization and Internalization Agenda for higher education with Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) being an integral part of its institutional plans and strategies. Our participation in the Erasmus+ Programme will significantly contribute to our aspirations to fulfill the steps laid down in the internationalization strategy of the school.

We seek to constantly increase the number of students enrolled in our graduate programs as well as the number of successful graduates. Active participation in activities covered by the ERASMUS+ Programme will support us in offering high-quality degree programs with up-to-date course content matching the current needs and demands of the labor market both in Germany and internationally.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. actively cooperates with a large network of academic and business partners in order to jointly develop its programs. This allows us to deliver employment-related skills and to improve the employability of our graduates. We are committed to further developing and diversifying our transnational education across all the offered programs and making use of innovative teaching/learning methods through new information and communications technologies, in order to enrich the learning experience of our students. Participation in activities under the ERASMUS+ Programme will support us in improving the quality and relevance of our programmes through international mobility and cross-border cooperation.

Trough active participation in international academic and research projects the ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e. V. aspires to promote cultural diversity and international experience exchange. Programme mobilities for students and staff and intercultural learning environment greatly improve the quality of the offered degree programmes as well as the students’ learning experience. Therefore we seek to offer diverse mobility opportunities for students and staff and to make international mobility an integral part of offered study programmes.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. puts a great emphasize on a strong and reliable network of academic and business partners. Our partners contribute to development and success of the offered programmes. In business partnerships, we exploit the synergies by linking education, research, and innovation and develop collaborative content ranging from employer branding activities to direct support of recruitment and joint development of seminars. During their studies our students unite over borders for experience exchange and co-creation of campus life across six urban campuses.

The ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V. seeks to diversify its project portfolio benefiting from national and European funding sources. Collaboration with international partners from program and participating countries in degree programs and joint international projects, allows us to expand our knowledge about other education systems and qualifications and facilitates experience exchange for creating and establishing effective institutional governance.
