Library Catalogue FAQs

  1. How can I access e-books?

There are two ways to access e-books:

    • When using an ESCP Europe computer, it is possible to browse e-books via dawsonera.com. The IP addresses of the London campus computers will be recognised by Dawson.
      • Click on Accept in the Terms & Conditions to search e-books by title, author or keyword
      • Click on 'Read online' and you should be able to read the whole book
    • When not using the School's computers find the title through the library catalogue (Flora). Please login here with your ESCP Intranet username and password.
      • Select "All libraries" in Location, and in Document type select "eBook"
      • Click the link in the Website field, and enter the Intranet login and password again (if requested) to read books from EBSCO, Dawsonera or any other platform.

  2. How can I find a course textbook?

Please find the textbook you are looking for typing the title or author's surname.  You can then check if there are copies of this title and find the shelf location of the book.

  3. Can I view my current loans?

Please send an email to uk_library@escpeurope.eu, call or come to the library desk and we will let you know about your current loans.

  4. I can see a book I want in the Paris library collection. Can I have this sent to London?

Unfortunately, transfers between campuses are not possible at this time.  Please inform London library staff of the title however, and a copy may be obtained if meets the requirements of our collection development policy.

  5. I tried to locate a journal title but I can’t find it in Flora?

As most of our journals are available electronically, use this link to locate links to full text online journals instead (available in Publication Finder in EBSCO). Click here instead to search for electronic journals by title.

  6. I have found a student work that doesn’t have an attachment. How can I view this?

Firstly, please ensure that you have logged in with your username and password at the Babylone home page.  Once you have done this, and there is still no attachment available, please see library staff.

  7. How can I search for internship reports?

From the Babylone search screen, select ‘Library Londres’ and type in ‘internship’ as your search term.  You can also add a company name to your search. You will be able to access to over 1,000 internship reports.
