Master in European Business

Graduates of ESCP Europe enjoy the benefit of excellent employment rates, even in these tough times.

We conduct annual First Job Surveys to keep track of our former students' successes in the six months after graduation, and we are delighted to present the results of our 2011 MEB leavers*:

• 89% of respondents found full-time employment, of which:
  
  • 56% before the Graduation Ceremony
  • 13% two months after the Graduation Ceremony
  • 13% between two and four months after the Graduation Ceremony
    
    
• Average yearly salaries are €41,416
  
  • €40k – €50k: 36%
  • More than €50k: 18%
    
    
• 44% work outside their home country
• 81% have an international job
• 61% work in firms with more than 2,000 employees
  
  

Although we specialise in business and management education, our graduates leave ESCP Europe to take on roles in a variety of sectors. The First Job Survey indicates that:

• 23% of our MEB graduates went on to work in consulting/auditing
• 21% were employed in finance/accounting
• 19% went into marketing and communication roles
• 8% now work in supply chain positions
• 8% went into sales
• 8% found executive management positions
• and 13% went on to work in a broad range of functions and sectors
  
  

The 2011 MEB graduates took roles in a range of different sectors:

• 23% in banking and finance
• 15% in management consultancy
• 11% in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and cosmetics industries
• 5% in e-commerce, IT and telecoms industry
• 5% in the chemical and energy industry
• 5% in the transportation industry
• 4% in food and beverage industry
• and 32% in a broad range of other sectors

All students taking the Master in European Business must complete an internship as a part of their studies. These are expected to last a minimum of 12 weeks.

The Careers Service will support you in the internship search. Internship offers will be advertised via email and on the intranet, although we do encourage all students to source their own placements.
