As of March 2009, non-EEA students entering the UK have had severe limitations put in place regarding their ability to work in the country. This means that non-EEA students on the Master in European Business (MEB), Master in Marketing and Creativity (MMK) and Master in Energy Management (MEM) programmes are unable to complete their mandatory internships in the UK.
As a consequence, any MEB, MMK or MEM student wishing to study at the London campus has to apply for a Student Visitor Visa and will have to undertake his/her internship outside of the UK.
Please note that ESCP Europe Business School does not sponsor MEB, MMK or MEM students for Tier 4 visas.
More information about the new regulations can be found on the UK Border Agency website.
Please note that you should take personal responsibility for managing your own unique situation.
For more information please contact Fabiana Muzzonigro.
The requirements to be met by a person seeking leave to enter the United Kingdom as a student can be found on the Home Office Immigration website.
Please note that the Tier 4 visa is not transferable. If you obtained a Tier 4 visa from another institution, you will not be able to use it to study at ESCP Europe.
Whilst the ultimate responsibility for study visas remains with the student, we are always happy to help with any questions or issues you might have. For immediate practical advice, please consult your copy of the ESCP Europe Guide to London (handed out at registration). If you have lost this booklet, you may obtain a replacement at the Programme Office. You can also view this brochure online by clicking the image link to the right of this text.
If you are still in need of advice, please visit the Programme Office at the London campus (open Monday to Friday).
Students who are residents of the EU or EEA do not need visas to study with ESCP Europe and are free to complete their internship within the UK.
