2009 Conferences

"Israel’s Economy and High-Tech Industry"
May 16th, 2009, Tel Aviv

This conference was organized for the IHEDN Alumni Association, with the support of the Israel Embassy in France. D. Rouach chaired the conference, and presented the specificities of Israeli high-tech industry and economic model. It was part of a mission which intended to understand the defense, political, social and economic sides of the Israel-Arab conflict.

"Les hautes technologies en Israel: les meilleures voies pour travailler dans le pays"
May 15th, 2009, Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv.

This conference was co-organized by Grandes Ecoles’ Alumni Association, Gvahim, Stagerim and the CCFI; and co-animated by D. Rouach and Anne-Sophie Trouillard, expert in International Marketing and Business Development. This event has seen the participation of more than 120 students from HEC, ESCP Europe, ESSEC and Paris-Dauphine; and of top executives and lecturers:  Dr Jacques Bendelac, International economist; C. Resiman, BNP Paribas General Manager for Israel, Dr L. Maruani, HEC Lecturer.

"Les métiers du Conseil dans la crise", Round Table
March 25th, 2009, ESCP Europe, Paris.

D. Rouach invited high level consultants to form a round table on the evolution of the crisis and its impact on Consulting : Arnaud Attia, Director of the Business Development School within the CapGemini Corporate University, Manager at CapGemini Consulting ; Christian Baumhauer , Founding Partner at Arttic (Management consulting firm specialized in R&D), Maximilien Brabec, Director at Novategie ; Laurent Hartmann, Partner at Arthur D. Little ; Laurent Latrides, Managing Director at CpourNous ; Steeve Louzoun, Consultant at Arthur D. Little.

"Le Modèle L’Oreal"
February 10th, 2009, ESCP Europe, Paris.

B. Collin and D. Rouach asked O. Lecocq, L’Oreal’s Asia HR Director, about the Group’s strategies, following the publication of their book Le Modèle L’Oréal. The conference was moderated by P. Gabilliet, Professor and Academic Dean of the Executive MBA at ESCP Europe. The conference was organized around 3 main topics: Globalization and Diversity Management, Innovation and Technology, and “At the beginning of a new era”.
