GMP : General Management Programme

The GMP is the ambitious new programme from ESCP Europe.

Structured in modules, like an MBA programme, the GMP is an executive course designed to increase participants’ competencies in the skills needed to achieve excellence in their new global roles.

The programme is run by highly-qualified professors from all over Europe and the USA.

Description and objectives

The General Management Programme supports firms in the development of their own talented resources; helping managers acquire General Management roles. The programme's analytical approach illuminates areas of potential improvement within participants’ leadership capabilities.

Participant profile

Managers or future managers with a minimum of 3 years experience, who want to improve their skills and gain an integrated perspective of general management.

Ideal profiles are:

Teaching approach

The programme, taught in English, combines lectures with practical learning situations such as role play, team work, and case studies. Each theoretical element is followed by a practical case, giving participants the opportunity to apply their new skills, and test their team-work.

Course structure

The programme timetable, an eleven-module structure taught in Torino campus, respects the time constraints of its professional participants. It comprises ten 3-day modules (Thursday to Saturday) and one 2-day module, which are held once a month.
