On Friday 14th September, ESCP inaugurated its 15th academic year in Italy.  ESCP Torino Campus welcomed new students with exceptional Patrons: top managers of large multinationals and family businesses who share the principles and mission of the business school. The close collaboration with important international companies with a great history behind them, who believe and invest in the new generations, is one of the merits of ESCP.

In welcoming new students, the President of the Italian campus Prof. Francesco Profumo and the Dean Prof. Francesco Rattalino presented the programmes and professors of ESCP.

The Business School kick-started the new Academic Year with inspirational talks held by four brilliant programme Patrons who welcomed 334 students.
«ESCP clearly and practically passes on the keys to play an active and decisive role in this changing world. ESCP is the School of life». This is what Jérome Salemi, General Manager - East Mediterranean Air France-KLM and ESCP Alumnus, says about our business school. He is the Patron of the Bachelor in Management programme.

«You should become not only managers, but you should become European international leaders» said the Patron of the Master in Management Emanuele Chieli, Honorary Consul of France in Turin. He also encouraged students to cultivate their passions, in their future career but also with parallel projects right now.

Cristina Nonino, Chief Executive Officer of Nonino distillery, is the patron of ESCP’s Master in International Food & Beverage Management. She came to our campus to share her values and inspire our new students: «Live in constant awareness so you can grasp the opportunities awaiting a fertile ground to take root».

Carlo Ghirardo, President of Motion Technologies at ITT and ESCP EMBA alumnus, is patron to the MBA in International Management students. He declared: «It is always a pleasure to come back to ESCP, where I obtained my Executive MBA a few years ago, and it is very fulfilling for me to be part of the opening of this academic year. Here you will get the chance to broaden your opportunities, open up your horizons and get ready to become our leaders of the future, of whom we are in so much need nowadays».

Year after year, the number of students on the Turin campus continues to increase: +29% compared to last year, +44% compared to 2016-2017

This year there are students from 40 different countries and the general percentage of internationality reaches an amazing 55%.

The continuously increasing number of students goes to prove that the activities and projects in which the Italian ESCP campus is involved are constantly growing.
