Name: Brigitta Vilmos

Languages Spoken: English, Hungarian, German, basic Italian

My Background: I grew up in Hungary, I was living in Budapest until the age of 19. After finishing my studies at Móricz Zsigmond Secondary School, I chose to attend ESCP's Bachelor in Management program and moved to London.

My chosen track: London – Turin – Berlin

What I like about the BSc at ESCP Europe: I very much enjoy the multicultural exposure I experience while studying every year at a different campus in a different country together with students from many different nations. Besides studying a broad spectrum of management related courses with many group projects, this international background, together with courses in interpersonal and intercultural skills give us an advantage in today’s competitive job market where employers value the ability of co-operation and teamwork. These skills have proven to be of great value during my consulting internship in the summer as I indeed could profit from what we learned in psychology, communication and interpersonal skills, making collaboration so much easier.

Why I applied to be a student ambassador: I applied to be a student ambassador because I believe ESCP Europe’s Bachelor in Management programme is the best place to study for a management degree in an international environment. ESCP is one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe, and the programme itself gives a state-of-the-art, broad based degree combining theory and practical case studies, which provides ESCP students with a strong advantage in the job market. I would like to promote this programme to as many high school students as possible, providing them with my first hand experiences.

Future career: I want to pursue a career in strategy consulting, not only for the variety of projects you can work on and the interesting mixture of people you can work with, but because I find it fascinating to help companies in the current complex and constantly changing business environment. The experiences during my summer internship verified my notion!

Something interesting about me: I was a junior tennis player until the age of 16. These days, I love running and I like to promote the healthy lifestyle. For this purpose, together with my classmates, last year in London we set up the WellBeing Society on Campus. I also like to travel and visit new places, which is really easy when you spend every year in a different country!
