Contact a Student Ambassador

Name: Julia Vetter

Languages Spoken: English and German

My Background: I was born in Germany but my family moved to the US when I was 7, so I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I went to High School in the states and graduated in May 2015, shortly after I grabbed my backpack and traveled through Southeast Asia for 8 months and then some other spontaneous trips until my semester at ESCP started.

My Chosen Track: London – Turin – Berlin

What I like about the Bachelor at ESCP Europe: What I love about this program is the diverse, well-roundedness of the course. One isn’t just learning about business, it’s all about integration with students from all over the world, explaining the subconscious decisions of business, learning new languages and cultures and joining an international family- including the professors.

I am looking forward to: Seeing the growth and changes within our campus, our students and myself. Plus exploring new cities and cultures while experiencing life in a whole new way.

I applied to be a student ambassador because:  I love what ESCP stands for and I want to continue bringing the most excellent candidates to our campus. As a student ambassador I get to meet people who are in the shoes I was standing in not too long ago and I hope to try and guide them down their path, plus I just love meeting new people.

My Future Career: This could change any day, but I would love to work for a private contracting company that consults the UN on international human rights issues.

Something interesting about me: I love puns, Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, taking selfies with animals and coffee. My favorite thing to do here in London is get lost finding quaint spots of the city as well as finding the speakeasy bars around. I have also caught a serious case of the travel bug, and when any opportunity to venture around arises, I take it!
