ESCP Europe Specialized Master in Management for the Publishing Industry - 1998
Head of Private Law Department , LexisNexis France, Paris

“The ESCP Europe Specialized Master in Management for the Publishing Industry is the only high-level training programme recognised by the French national publishers’ union. What differentiates this degree is that it trains project manager-publishers, professionals who are both managers and idea people. This perfectly matches my own conception of working in publishing.

Today, I am head of the private Law Department at LexisNexis, managing about 50 encyclopedia, 25 magazines and reviews  and in charge of  the implementation of the on-line and paper strategy development. I supervise a team of 45 people and oversee production, including scheduling, setting budgets, applying the graphic charter, and editorial content.

In fact, I was recruited by LexisNexis after my internship, specifically to manage an on-line publication called "Communication-Commerce électronique" that it was my idea to launch.

I credit the Specialized Master in Management for the Publishing Industry for having taught me how to apply effective management strategies to both existing projects and to launches for new projects.”
