How to finance your Specialized Master?
What you should know:
All Specialized Masters include a mandatory company placement of at least 4 months which often lasts 6 months. The salary of the students during their internship is between € 400 and € 1,800 per month depending on the MS and helps to pay some of the tuition fees.
Many banks offer better loan conditions (interest rate and reimbursement of capital postponed by one year) to ESCP Europe students wishing to finance their studies through such means: BNP Paribas, BRED, LCL, Société Générale.

Cost & Financing
The fees for the academic year 2011/2012 are set at 15,100€ with a non refundable application fee of 115€. The fees are invoiced either:
- in one instalment at the beginning of the academic year
- ESCP Europe also offers the direct debit option: in that case 6 monthly instalments will be paid from November to April.
Applicants who are offered a place must confirm their acceptance and pay a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the tuition fees.
2012/2013 fees are subject to review.
Funding and Scholarships for the students in the Specialized Master’s Programs
1. Scholarships
For the 2011-2012 schoolyear, scholarships will be granted to the students in the Specialized Master’s Programs depending on both financial need and merit.
Only students who fulfill the two following criteria will be eligible :
- students who were granted a scholarship (level 2 to 6 only) based on financial need in 2009-2010 and/or 2010-2011 ;
- students who are admitted on the 1st list in the ESCP Europe Specialized Master’s selection
The amount of the scholarship will vary between 10% of the tuition fees and will be deducted from these fees.
The students will be informed of the amount of their scholarship at the end of October 2011.

2. Internships
Students have to do an internship for a minimum of 4 months in order to graduate (however the average length of internships is 6 months). Although the salary offered can vary, most students get paid between €400 and €1,800 per month during their internships.
A work permit is not required since the internship is a compulsory part of the curriculum. International students are therefore allowed to work with their student residence permit.
The internship is a substantial source of funding for the Specialized Master’s Programs.
3. Campus jobs
Many on-campus jobs are available (clerical work, research or other) and paid by the hour (8€ per hour).
4. Bank loans
You may apply for a bank loan to finance your studies. Many banks offer student loans at attractive rates, with deferred pay back. French banks request that you provide a guarantor in France. If you have no relative in France, we therefore recommend that you apply for a loan from a bank in your own country. Four Paris banks are known to grant loans to ESCP Europe students: BNP Paribas, BRED, LCL and Société Générale.
