  1. What is a Full-Time Specialized Master® ESCP Europe?

     
    The choice of a Full-Time Specialized Master® corresponds to a professional project and gives young graduates and young managers a combination of high-value skills sought by recruiters.

    This programme provides academic expertise and presentation of the best professional practices. Our goal is to train experts who will be rapidly able to progress in a globalized world. Choosing a "Full-Time Intensive" format allows, at the end of a short and dense tuition, to have an immediate access to decision-making leadership positions.

    The Specialized Masters® and MSc/Masters enable students to complete their initial curriculum with an expertise course in a specific management area:

  2. What is the difference between the Executive Specialized Master®s and the Full-Time Specialized Masters®?

     

    - The Executive Specialized Masters® ESCP Europe, known as “Part-Time", are degree programmes allowing young managers with high potential and with at least three years of professional experience, to complete their initial curriculum with expertise training in a specific management area. The programme allows the maintenance of a professional activity (2 sessions per month, Friday and Saturday morning and 2 to 3 seminars a week). The Executive Specialized Masters® benefit from strong connections with the industry - an advantage for the development of managerial and technical skills.


    - Choosing a Full-Time Specialized Master®corresponds to a professional project and gives young graduates and young managers a combination of high-value skills sought by recruiters. It does not allow the maintenance of a professional activity. This programme combines academic expertise and presentation of the best business practices. Our goal is to train experts able to progress rapidly in a globalized world. The choice of a "Full Time Intensive" format enables an immediate access to positions of responsibility thanks to a short and dense tuition and an internship.

  3. What is the difference between the Full-Time Specialized Masters® (MS) and the Master in International Management (MBA)?

     

    These two one year program offered by ESCP Europe are both 3rd degree programs.

    ·         The MBA in International Management is a one-year, two-country full-time programme which provides young professionals with the business skills and mindset for a successful international career. Applicants need a minimum of 3 years’ work experience

    The Specialized Masters® Full-Time (MS) are specialised programs in a profession or a sector (Finance, Marketing or Consulting for instance). MS Students’profile is generally composed of 17% non-French students with 40 nationalities, various initial backgrounds (engineering school, economics, management schools, law, political sciences, literature, human sciences, life sciences, decorative arts, architecture…). 

     

     

  4. What is the schedule of the Full-Time Specialized Master program ESCP Europe?

     

    As a dynamic training based on a conceptual and practical pedagogy, the Full-Time Specialized Master includes:

    • 6 months of courses - fundamental contributions, case studies, group projects, an international seminar
    • An internship of at least 4 months and a professional thesis which concludes the training.
    • Classes are in French and English
  5. Who are the Full-Time Specialized Masters® addressed to?

     

    The Specialized Master® Full-Time (MS) is a one-year training addressed to French and foreign students:

    • Holders of a Master’s 2 degree:

    - Engineering degree (entitled by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs)
    - Business School diploma (from a school member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles)
    - IEP, medical, pharmacy, veterinary, law or architecture degree…

    • Holders of a university Master 1 or Master 2 degree and justifying 3 years of experience
    • Students without professional experience holding a Master 1 (BAC + 4) or equivalent may also apply in a limited number representing 30% of each program’s headcounts.

     

     

  6. What is the duration of the Full-Time Specialized Masters®?

     

    The Full-Time Specialized Masters® last a year:

    • 6 months of intensive courses including an international seminar (September intake)
    • A 4 to 6 months internship
    • Delivery and viva of a professional thesis at the end of the program

  8. I don’t have any initial training in Management, can I still do a Full-Time Specialized Masters® ESCP Europe?

     

    Yes, of course. A Full-Time Specialized Masters® ESCP Europe is a way to gain a double skill.

  9. Are the courses entirely in French?

     

    All Full-Time MS incorporate modules in English.

    Some Full-Time MS are having a part of the course abroad where teaching is in english. 

  10. What is the level required in French?

     

    Proficiency in English and French is required as the courses will be given in both languages. A good level in French is required as you must be able to understand it and to express yourself.

  11. Can I apply for several Full-Time MS?

     

    You may submit your application for a maximum of two Full-Time Specialized Masters®.

    If you apply for two Full-Time Specialized Masters®, you must fill in two separate files and pay 180€ for application fees.

    Application fees are non-refundable.

  12. Can I apply for different ESCP Europe programmes?

     

    If you meet the admission requirements, you may apply to other programmes of the school, and you have to mention it when you apply for a Full-Time MS.

    For each programme, you can apply only once a year via only one competitive exam.

  13. Is my professional experience an advantage?

     

    Every single experience is highlighted, especially if it is incorporated within a constructed professional project.

  14. What is the age limit to apply for a Full- Time MS?

     

    There is no age limit to apply for a Full-Time MS. The average age is 25 years.
    During the oral test, the consistency of the professional project will be evaluated.

  15. What is the application fee for the Full-Time Specialized-Masters®?

     

    There is an application fee of 120€.

    You may submit your application for a maximum of two Full-Time Specialized Masters®.
    If you apply for two Full-Time Specialized Masters®, you must fill in two separate files and pay 180€ for application fees.

    Application fees are non-refundable.

    Students benefiting from the CROUS scholarship are exempted from application fees and must enclose a copy of their CROUS scholarship certificate for the current year.

  16. What are the admission procedure and the calendar?

     

    The online registration is mandatory.

    • Carefully complete the online application form, providing all required documents.
    • Print your application form and send it by post before the deadline of your admission intake (January, May or September)

    The selection is in two stages.

    Stage 1 - Review of the candidate’s application file and standardised english test

    Stage 2 - A personal interview reserved for eligible candidates

     

    For all the other MS

    Stage 1 - Review of the candidate’s application file and of the English test score:

    Students must submit a copy of the results of a TOEFL or a TOEIC listening and reading score or IELTS score (taken within the last two years) in their application file.

    For the Specialized Master® in Finance, the candidate can choose between two options: 

    - submit a copy of the results of a GMAT, TAGE-MAGE or GRE and an english score

    or
    - take ESCP Europe specific tests in French

    Stage 2 - A personal interview reserved for eligible candidates

  17. How many admission sessions?

     

    3 annual sessions take place, in January, April-May, and a third one in June-July.

  18. Where do admission sessions (written tests, specific tests, and oral tests) take place?

     

    Location:

    • ESCP Europe written tests only take place on Paris Campus, 79 avenue de la République, 75011 Paris (Métro : Rue Saint Maur). They include:

    - A multiple choice test of English proficiency (30 minutes)
    - A multiple choice questions on general knowledge (30 minutes)

    • In case of eligibility, the personal interview will also take place on Paris Campus.

    If you live abroad and cannot travel during that period, please contact the programme manager of the MS for which you are applying in order to plan an oral test via video conference. Program managers’ contact details are available on every MS program’s webpage.

  19. Are there additional tests for Full-Time MS?

     

    There is no additional test.

     

     

  20. What are the English Tests accepted by ESCP Europe for Full-Time Specialised Masters®?

     

    English tests accepted by ESCP Europe for Full-Time MS are:

    • TOEFL (Internet based, computed based and paper based are accepted)
    • TOEIC
    • IELTS
  21. Do you require a minimum score for GMAT, TAGE MAGE, TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS?

     

    There are no minima required for these different scores. Each application file is evaluated compared to all the files received.

  22. How to prepare for GMAT, TAGE MAGE, TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS tests?

    To prepare these tests:

  23. Where can I find past papers collections of ESCP Europe’s written tests?

     

    We do not publish past papers of exams. There are many books helping to prepare to the English tests (e.g. TOEIC preparation books) and you must keep yourself informed with the news. 

  24. Where can I find the admission results?

  25. How are oral tests organised?


    • Location: It takes place on Paris Campus. You will be received by students and programmes managers from the different Specialized Masters and you will be able to ask them your questions.

    If you live abroad and cannot travel during that period, please contact the programme manager of the MS for which you are applying in order to plan an oral test via video conference.

    • Schedule: The jury is composed of a minimum of 2 persons – the Academic Director of the MS and a school representative or an alumnus.
    • Objectives: The interview aims for evaluating student’s motivation and career plan.

     

     

  26. I don’t currently live in France. How can I organise an interview?

     

    If you live abroad and cannot travel during that period, please contact the program manager of the MS for which you are applying in order to plan an oral test via video conference.

  27. I have been accepted in a ESCP Europe Full-Time Specialized Master®. I cannot join the Full-time Specialized Master for the September intake. Can I postpone my admission?

     

    A postponement is an exception.

    The request must be written, legitimate and sent to the Academic Directors as soon as the results of admission are published.

  28. What professions can I get after a Full-Time Specialized Master®?

     

    You can check the career path of the last alumnus on the page of the MS for which you apply in the section “Careers”. It will give you the opportunity to attest the great employability of our graduate students.

    The fees for the academic year 2017/2018 (including the international seminar)

  30. When is the Full-Time Specialized Masters® intake?

     

    Intake: September 2017

    MS Finance: Seminar of mathematic upgrade to ensure that all students have a same solid knowledge base: September, 2017.

  31. Are there scholarships?

     

    For the 2017-2018 schoolyear, scholarships depending on both financial need and merit will be granted to the students in the Specialised Master programmes.

    Only students who fulfill the two following criteria will be eligible:

    French students: 

    Students who are admitted (apart from complementary list) in the ESCP Europe Specialized Master®'s selection and who were granted a scholarship (up to level 2) on the last two years on financial needs (CROUS)

    International students:

    Students who are admitted (apart from complementary list) in the ESCP Europe Specialized Master®'s selection and who were granted a scholarship (up to level 2) on the last two years.

     

    The amount of the scholarship is 10% of the tuition fees and will be deducted from these fees.

    ESCP Europe Foundation scholarships, available to all students, are merit-based.  The amount of the  ten award is 2000€.



  32. Where do the courses take place?

     

    Classes take place at ESCP Europe Paris Campus, 79 avenue de la République, 75011 Paris.

    A part of some Full-Time Specialised Masters’ curriculum will take place abroad, either in one of ESCP Europe Campus (in London), or in a partner university (City Law School, Ca’Foscari University (Venice), Cornell University (USA). 

     

     

  33. How does ESCP Europe help us to find an internship or a job?

     

    There are several means made available to students: 

    • A CV book from each Full-Time Specialized Master® is distributed to companies so they can explore all students’ profiles.
    • Numerous one-off meetings are organised with human resources professionals who come in order to propose jobs and internships.
    • Corporate Relations service regularly organises forums and meetings with companies by business sector or all of them taken together.
    • Beyond, the Academic Director has an important coaching and counselling (advices on career plans) to the students during the year.
    • The Forum Entreprises takes place in January every year at the Palais des Congrès de Paris and gathers more than 150 companies from all kinds of business sectors.
