Curriculum

Professional thesis / dissertation

Subsequent to the internship, students must complete a professional dissertation in consultation with an ESCP Europe Professor. This individual research project is an essential part of the programme since it leads to in-depth analysis. The topic chosen is approved beforehand by an academic advisor and students are taught research methods. The dissertation is defended orally between early November and mid-December.

The dissertation is the final stage of the programme. It represents 30 of the total of 75 ECTS credits earned over the year.

Here are a few examples of student thesis topics:

  • “The usage of temporary usufruct in asset management”

  • “The French tax system's penalization of expatriates”

  • “Art and private banking”
