General Management Programme

Overview

The primary objective of the General Management Programme (GMP) is to provide participants with the cross-functional knowledge and managerial skills required to become more effective managers.

It gives an overview of the main managerial disciplines and equips participants with an understanding of the driving forces of the business environment and organisational behaviour.

The GMP is an integral part of the Executive MBA, with the curriculum comprised of the Executive MBA's nine core courses. This allows participants to progress smoothly to the full MBA qualification in the future should they decide to continue their executive education journey at ESCP Europe.

The GMP is a part-time programme and fully compatible with an executive schedule, requiring a minimal number of days away from the office.

There are six available tracks on the GMP:

The Induction Seminar in Paris (optional)

The ESCP Europe GMP starts with an optional but highly recommended Induction Seminar.It consists of 2,5 days on "Problem Solving and Decision Making".

The Itinerant Track

The Itinerant track delivers the GMP at all five of our European campuses: Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid and Torino. The modules are covered over five intensive weeks (Monday - Friday), with each taking place in a new location.

The Paris Track

The Paris track takes place over eight sessions, with each taking three days to complete. Classes take place on Thursday and Friday (8:30am – 8:00pm) and Saturday (8.30am - 12.30pm).

The Torino Track

The Torino track takes place over eight sessions, with each taking three days to complete. Classes take place on Thursday and Friday (9:00am – 7:00pm) and Saturday (8.30am - 1.30pm).

The Madrid Track


The Madrid Track covers 15 weekend sessions, with classes on Friday afternoons (4 pm - 9 pm) and Saturday mornings (9 am - 2 pm), and a full week in November.

The Beirut Track


The Beirut Track is composed of 7 sessions from February to October 2016, with classes Thursday to Saturday (9 am - 6 pm), and 2 sessions in December, with classes on Thursday and Friday (9 am - 6 pm).
