Eight research projects were selected by the ESCP Europe/KPMG Chair for Risk Strategy and Business Performance :
1) "Le whistleblowing : un remède contre le harcèlement au travail ?" proposed by Professors David Chekroun, Claudia Jonczyk, Anne-Sophie Barthez (Université de Cergy-Pontoise).
2) « Performances locales et stratégies de diffusion à l’international des innovations technologiques : le cas de l’iPhone d’Apple », proposed by Professors Delphine Manceau, Marie Taillard and ESCP Europe Ph.D. Student Mariana Dahan.
3) « Perceived Risk, Negative Emotions and Consumption Patterns: A Study in a Context of Low-Intensity Conflicts and Political Tensions », proposed by Professors Frédéric Jallat and Robert Wilken.
4) "Finance and sustainable development", proposed by Professors Christophe Moussu, Steve Ohana, Cécile Kharoubi, Aurélien Acquier, Ganaël Bascoul, Ulrich Pape and Michael Troege.
5) "Pricing strategies and multimodal distribution channels", proposed by Professors Frédéric Jallat, Jacob and Fabio Ancarani (Université Bocconi).
6) "How companies prepare major events", proposed by Professors Hervé Laroche and Claudia Jonczyk and ESCP Europe Ph.D. Student Véronique Steyer.
7) "Inheritance Law, Family Structure, and Performance of Family Firms", proposed by Professors Bunkanwanicha, Médina and Chekroun.
8) "Risk management in the Energy industry. A source of value creation" proposed by Professors Patrick Gougeon and Christophe Moussu.
The steering committee of the Chair decided to allow a €15,000 research grant to each of these projects, i.e. a total of €120,000 allocated to 22 ESCP Europe Professors from Paris, Berlin and Madrid.
