The Gala is the highlight of ESCP Europe's social calendar, gathering together alumni, students, corporate partners and staff for a celebration of the School's history and achievements. This year's event took place in the ballroom of Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott hotel.
The evening began with a champagne reception, swiftly followed by the call to dinner and a welcome address by the evening's Master of Ceremonies, Prof. Ben Voyer, ESCP Europe's UK Director, Prof. Patrick Gougeon, and the Managing Director of Cartier UK and board member of the ESCP Europe Alumni Association, Laurent Feniou.
We were also delighted to welcome Prof. Edouard Husson, Dean of ESCP Europe, who delivered a special address.
After a delicious three-course dinner, there was a charity prize draw which featured high end gifts from our friends at Eurostar, Cartier, Bicester Village, L'atelier des Chefs, Kusmi Tea, Maison Maille and St Kew.
ESCP Europe strives to attract the best students, regardless of their financial background. As such, the School offers a selection of financial need and merit-based scholarships. Around 400 are awarded each year, representing a total of €1,500,000. All money raised from the sale of tickets for the prize draw (more than £1,200) was donated to both this fund, contributing to the School's commitment to helping students who would not otherwise be able to study with us, and to support this summer's MSc in Marketing & Creativity Marketing For Change charity trip to Uganda.
Continuing this tradition, the ESCP Europe Gala band included:
