Opportunit� da cogliere al Volo!

Collegno, sabato 3 Settembre 2011. All'indomani della giornata d'Apertura dell'Anno Accademico 2011-2012, tutti gli studenti dei Master pre-esperienza ESCP Europe si sono radunati all'Aeroclub Torino, per condividere subito insieme un'esperienza fuori dal comune.E' stato per loro possibile sperimentare il volo su aerei privati �Piper�, a loro riservati, e provare perfino a pilotarli personalmente.

Sono stati messi a disposizione una ventina di aerei, da 4 posti ciascuno: adatti a far volare 3 persone alla volta, pi� il pilota.

�Come fa per i Master, offrendo percorsi di studio che permettono di conseguire pi� titoli di Laurea economica Europea contemporaneamente, e al tempo stesso di studiare e lavorare in almeno 2 diversi Paesi Europei (MEB), se non 3 (MiM) o pi� (MBA), ESCP Europe apre la mente ad un mondo diverso e sconosciuto" - afferma il Direttore Generale del campus Roberto Quaglia -. Come gi� fatto con il Golf e la Vela, ESCP Europe porta i propri studenti a sperimentare, questa volta, il Volo privato e a non avere timore di Volare in alto".

Il Progetto ha l�intenzione � di creare l�interesse ad ottenere un vero Brevetto di Volo, come pilota di piper privato, tramite un �pacchetto ESCP Europe� agevolato per tempi ed a prezzi scontati, conseguibile in pi� anni, su pi� strutture aeroportuali Europee. Questo proprio perch� gli studenti ESCP Europe svolgono i loro percorsi di studio fra Italia, Francia, Spagna, Inghilterra e Germania, ed ottenere il brevetto comporta almeno 45 ore di lezioni.Dopo le prime 12 ore (al Campo Volo di Torino) si ottiene il 1� Certificato di Volo �in Solitario� al quale poi occorrer� aggiungere almeno 33 ore volo di perfezionamento).

L�evento, nato come occasione di integrazione fra i nuovi studenti MiM e MEB del campus di Torino, sar� presto estesa anche a partecipanti del programma Exectuve GMP, ed in futuro potrebbe essere organizzata una giornata simile per gli alumni di tutta Italia.

Torino, 2 Settembre 2011. La ESCP Europe, business school presente in Europa con 5 campus a Parigi, Londra, Berlino, Madrid e Torino, unica sede italiana, inaugura il 2 settembre l�ottavo ciclo dei Master pre-esperienza lavorativa in Italia.
Durante la giornata, il Presidente del campus italiano Prof. Daniele Ciravegna, il Direttore Generale Prof. Roberto Quaglia e il Direttore degli Studi Prof. Francesco Rattalino danno il benvenuto ai nuovi studenti con la presentazione dei corsi e dei docenti dei due programmi in partenza: il MiM - Master in Management e il MEB - Master in European Business.

Negli anni di insediamento a Torino, la ESCP Europe ha instaurato una forte presenza in Italia. Il campus di Torino ha raggiunto un peso importante nella rete dei 5 campus europei, passando ad essere rispettivamente per MiM e MEB il 2� ed il 3� in termini di reclutamento, dietro alle sedi di Parigi e Berlino. I numeri di ESCP Europe sono in crescita in Europa.

Quest�anno per il MiM la sede di Torino ha oltrepassato le 400 richieste, le domande di ammissione accettate sono cresciute del 68,7% rispetto lo scorso anno e gli studenti selezionati sono stati 64 ( +20% rispetto il 2010) con una percentuale di selezione ancora pi� restringente rispetto il passato, fissata al 16,4%.
Per il MEB invece le richieste ricevute da Torino sono state di poco inferiori alle 400 e sono stati 38 gli iscritti finali (+12% rispetto il 2010, con un 9,7% come dato di percentuale di selezione) di cui 23 svolgeranno il programma in parte a Torino nel 1� semestre (+28% gli studenti che hanno scelto Torino rispetto lo scorso anno) e 15 completamente all�estero, presso altre due sedi della business school.

�L�obiettivo di questi due programmi pre-esperienza lavorativa - fra i pi� innovativi presenti in Italia in termini di struttura e fra i pi� completi in termini di contenuti - � quello di fornire il pi� alto livello di formazione economico-manageriale ed educare alla professionalit� ed alla meritocrazia� afferma il Prof. Roberto Quaglia Direttore Generale della ESCP Europe, Torino Campus.�I nostri Master si sviluppano sulla base di un aggiornamento continuo con i principali stakeholder del mondo aziendale. Oltre a solide conoscenze tecniche, e a prestigiosi titoli accademici, gli studenti ESCP Europe acquisiscono cos� abilit� reali ad adattarsi ai variegati e mutevoli contesti organizzativi internazionali, dai quali verranno al termine ricercati e all�interno dei quali vengono inseriti gi� prima di aver terminato il Master�.

ESCP Europe si distingue infatti per la �rapidit� di carriera� e per il �placement� dei suoi programmi: al termine di ogni anno di Master la percentuale di collocamento in azienda tramite stage da parte della business school � del 100%. Un dato significativo sul mercato attuale del lavoro in Italia, che conferma un forte appeal degli studenti verso la ESCP Europe.

A testimonianza della forte interrelazione con il tessuto aziendale ed industriale, sono chiamati ogni anno ad essere �Padrini� dei master, personalit� di rilievo nel contesto economico e politico, secondo quella che � da sempre la tradizione delle Grandi Ecoles*.
Quest�anno per l�Italia sono: Fabio Dioguardi, Direttore HR & Organizzazione di Ferrero per il MiM e Antonella Gomba, HR & Sourcing Director di Reply per il MEB. Il ruolo del Padrino � quello di offrire ai nuovi studenti provenienti da tutta Europa una visione d�insieme del contesto economico-politico locale in cui si troveranno a vivere e di presentare loro l�esperienza che si accingono ad intraprendere nella giusta prospettiva economico-industriale, in cui entreranno presto a far parte, tramite lo stage integrato al loro percorso di studio.

Further Cohesion of ESCP Europe Community

From the 12th to the 15th of May, the Torino Campus organised the fourth annual ESCP Europe Regatta in Italy, for a long weekend of sailing along the exquisite Gulf of Naples. As is now traditional, no less than 480 contestants and 43 sailing yachts entered the race this year � almost twice as many as the year before. The growing success of the ESCP Europe Regatta is not only due to the breathtaking natural settings where the race is held each year, but also to the spirit of cohesion and challenge that is the essence of ESCP Europe.

The event officially started on the evening of the 12th with a welcome reception and was followed the next morning by a race involving five boats, each representing one of the five ESCP Europe campuses (Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid and Torino). The Paris crew came out in first position. Two other races, involving all 43 boats, were organised over the following two days, the first one from Naples to the island of Ischia and the second one off of Ischia. Both were won by the Azzura crew, led by skipper Flavio Nappi, ESCP Europe student and founder of the event, who also holds several sailing titles.

But beside the thrill of the race, the ESCP Europe Regatta is first and foremost a chance for participants, students and alumni alike, to get to know each other and bond over the challenge of victory. On the evening of the 15th, the now famous White Gala, held on a beautiful beach on Ischia, brought the event to a close. Participants enjoyed their evening networking and dancing, and all agreed they would be back next year.

The ESCP Europe Regatta Team is happy to officially announce the countdown to the ESCP Europe Regatta 2011.

The fourth edition will take place in Ischia, a beautiful island close to Naples, on the weekend of the May 12-15, 2011.

Save the Date!

In 2008, the first edition of the ESCP Europe Regatta was hosted in Capri with less than 50 participants. Three years later, in May 2010, the Regatta had grown to
23 sailboats, over 230 participants, unforgettable events and unique moments
to meet students and alumni from our 5 campuses.

This year, the team is aiming for something even larger. There will be 500 participants, representing over 30 nationalities, 35 sailboats, more sponsors, bigger events and a new breathtaking location.

For the third time, from the 13th to the 16th May 2010, Capri will be the hosting city for the annual ESCP Europe Regatta: the international sailing event organised by the oldest Business School in Europe. With its 5 campuses in Europe (Paris, Turin, London, Berlin, Madrid), ESCP Europe is both a high-level school of management (consistently ranked as one of the best in Europe by Financial Times) with international scope and a large-scale European institution.

After the success of the previous editions, the event will gather this year more than The event originated with The Betting on the success and prestige of the event, there are several.
Everything will support our understanding that the pursue of the victory, the need to split the tasks and cooperate, along with the necessity to well interpret the external factors are just a few of the elements that make sailing the best metaphor for management.

Organisation will be managed by the �Associazione Regatta ESCP Europe�, an international team of students lead by th to the 16th May 2010, Capri will be the hosting city for the annual ESCP Europe Regatta: the international sailing event organised by the oldest Business School in Europe. With its 5 campuses in Europe (Paris, Turin, London, Berlin, Madrid), ESCP Europe is both a high-level school of management (consistently ranked as one of the best in Europe by Financial Times) with international scope and a large-scale European institution.250 participants from over 26 countries.

Crew members will include students but also Alumni of the School, who either are pursuing a rewarding career for the most prestigious companies; either started a successful business all over the world. For the first time, managers of sponsors will join them taking advantage of this unique opportunity to live the ESCP Europe spirit.the purpose to foster the spirit of aggregation and community that constitute a unique strength of these young managers: a proper management of interpersonal relations and the ability to develop them are success factors in any context, in a working environment as in a sport competition.25 sailboats will depart on the 14th May from Santa Lucia and Darsena Action ports in Naples towards Capri where they will find logistic support and hospitality by the Yacht Club Capri.

The day after, the 25 crews will be engaged in the Regatta ESCP Europe, a challenging triangle course. After, 5 sailboats representing the 5 Campuses will attend the Regatta Race, a fascinating Regatta replicating the format of the traditional Regatta Oxford vs Cambridge. Moreover, during the three days, the several parties, aperitifs and meetings scheduled will be enhanced by the stunning landscape of Capri and the exclusive selected locations.personalities of the sailing and managerial sphere that will animate the team building session and the smart social game (developed with the contribution of The Boston Consulting Group).Flavio Nappi, an expert sailor from Naples which created this event during his first year of his Masters in Management in Turin.

The event is supported by the Director of Turin campus, Roberto Quaglia. The contribution of sponsors as Kappa, Banca Patrimoni (Sella & C.), The Boston Consulting Group, Ferrero, Gancia, Jaguar, K-Way (which representatives will be hosted in luxury 95-feet floating SPA offered by Imperial Yachts), will ensure the success of this innovative networking and team building event.
