Frédérique Alexandre-Bailly is professor in management at ESCP Europe.
She is also the coordinator of the Management Department, ex SHO.
She is Associated Dean for students inclusion and diversity.
She is the scientific director of INCLUDEE Research Center (Inclusion, Uniqueness and Diversity in Education and Enterprises).
She is member of the board of the Sorbonne (Université Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne), member of the board of the CNAM doctoral school, and member of the CNAM academic board.
She is member of the board of the French Academy of Management.
She was Dean of the ESCP Europe Faculty from September 2008 to September 2014 and Dean of the apprenticeship programme from 2001 to 2008.
She has also been vice administrator in charge of teaching affairs and partnerships of the excellence initiative program of heSam University (Hautes Etudes Sorbonne Université), the higher education cluster which ESCP Europe belongs to, from 2012 to 2014.
She graduated in 1991 from HEC Paris (major in international management) and holds a CEMS Master in European Management (ESADE, Barcelona, Spain) as well as a Master in Philosophy from the Sorbonne (Université Paris IV)
She worked as a business consultant at Stratorg (Paris) and completed her Research Master in history of philosophy at Nanterre University in 1995, then her Doctorate in Management at HEC in 2001. Her discussion was on managing autonomy at work.
She joined the faculty of ESCP Europe in 1998. She teaches human resources management and organizational behaviour.
Her research is focused on three areas: autonomy and democracy at work, diversity management, higher education management.
She is knight of the French national merit order
