Biography

Affiliate Professor at ESCP Europe, Maximilien Brabec, is a professor of Strategy, Innovation Management and entrepreneurship. He has developed specific tools, expertise and processes  in how to:

  • Implement winning out of the box strategies,
  • Implement fast innovation processes,
  • Lead a better performance both in daily operational experience and in permanent innovation
  • Empower and foster entrepreneurship and collaborative attitudes throughout the company
  • Design and practice Business Model Innovation facing Sustainable development issues

Professor Brabec is a consultant for groups, startup and fast growing companies enabling them to probe in 360° out of the box, to design business model innovations and to build up visionary strategic vision and to design the path to lead to the vision. He is the author of “Getting out of the me too” PUF edition and “Green Business Model” Dunod (Special Prize Book 2011 quality performance). He is leading his own consulting company Novategie and was previously Director at Ernst Young and Consultant at KPMG (16 years of consulting experience). He had a former operational experience (General Manager, founder of a startup and Business Unit Developer at IBM) and has still an executive role in a technological startup in the cinema industry. He is an expert for the National Innovation Agency (OSEO) and has produced a book at the request of the National Order of Chartered Accountants intended to all Chartered Accountants on how to design the project of our office and to implement it.

Teaching Experience: Professor Brabec has been closely involved in executive education at ESCP Europe for many years. As an example, he is leading and teaching part of the program of the Master Of Science on Innovation and Entrepreneurship from which 65 startups have grown up and created real value, and is part of the 2.0 program. He has made a lot of CEO workshops (more than 400) for APM (CEO association) regarding how to build up differentiation strategies, to implement out of the box strategies. to be effective in fast innovation process and to make a winning strategy about sustainable development. He previously taught on “Designing and implementing breakthrough strategy” at the HEC MBA. He has an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale.
