Biography
Jean-Marie Ducreux is a Scientific Director at ESCP Europe, in charge of the "Marketing for managers" Specialisation Programme. He is also a senior advisor with the Boston Consulting Group.
He has worked in France, in the USA and in Japan, initially with the Boston Consulting Group then with Seagram as a marketing manager for worldwide brands; later as the CEO of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) French subsidiary also in charge of the paint division in Continental Europe and finally as CEO of an innovation-based contractor with subsidiaries in more than 20 countries.
He works as a consultant and as a professor in marketing and strategy in Europe, Asia and North America.
Current research
Jean-Marie Ducreux published with the Boston Consulting Group a book on Strategy in November 2008.
The book reviews fundamental concepts of strategy and focuses both on corporate strategy (strategic vision, growth strategy, strategic management of human and financial resources) and business strategy (competitive and differentiation strategies, deconstruction and new business models...). The book is published by Editions d'Organisation.
