Mickaël Hoffmann-Hervé is affiliate professor in the Strategy, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources department of ESCP Europe Paris campus. He is also director of Académie des Managers (a management school for executives and coaches), a consultant in human resources management and a coach (M2H Consult).
A trained psychologist (Ecole des Psychologues Praticiens) Professor Hoffmann-Hervé has spent more than ten years as a human resources vice-president in the pharmaceutical industry for such companies as ICI-Pharma / Astra-Zeneca, Jouveinal / Parke-Davis, the chemical industry (ICI Chemical, Valentine / Corona) and the financial services industry (Euler-SFF factoring and Euler-Hermes Allianz France).
A consultant in recruitment and assessment centers (a tool geared to the detection of managerial potential), he was for two years (1988-1990) in charge of setting up and developing the ICI group’s university in France (ICI employs a staff of 5,000 in its 7 business units in France).
Mickaël Hoffmann-Hervé has specialized in training, in the implementation of strategic processes in the fields of human resources and organizational skills management, as well as in the follow up and coaching of top executives.
He teaches in the ESCP-EAP Master Grande Ecole programme and in the Business Consulting and Human Resources Management Specialized Masters.
As a consultant with the ESCP Europe Executive Education Department, he organizes and teaches numerous specialist programmes dealing with team management and leadership for top executives. He has gained operational experience in corporate team building in industrial firms, in the pharmaceutical industry and the services sector (Banques Populaires, Crédit Agricole, Accenture, Total, Sun Chemical, Chevron Oronite, Serono, Schering-Plough, Chiesi, Védior-Bis, DaimlerChrysler, General Motors, Express-Expansion, Groupe Lagardère Média, AFP, Le Figaro, Radio France, NRJ, Le Parisien, etc...).
Professor Hoffmann-Hervé also teaches in the following ESCP Europe corporate programmes: General Management, Human Resources Management and Development, Social Development as well as the Diriger-Motiver programme (he is responsible for the Staff Assessment and Human Resources Management modules).
Together with Nicole Aubert, Mickaël Hoffmann-Hervé co-authored "Diriger-Motiver" published by Editions d'Organisation in 1997 (second edition in 2002).
