Kenneth Preece is an affiliate Professor at the London Campus of ESCP Europe, since 1995. He teaches both Management Control and Group Financial Statements for the Master in Management program. He also teaches both Financial Accounting and Management Accounting for the Master in European Business program.
Professor Kenneth Preece is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (Associate 1966). He gained the 3rd place in order of merit in the June 1964 Intermediate, Section II examination of the Association, then he obtained the 1st place worldwide at the June 1965 Final Section I examination. He is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since 1966.
In the course of his career, he held various positions within the accounting functions of both British Gas and Wellman Engineering.
As a Professor, he formerly taught in the following establishments: Sandwell College (as Principal Lecturer), Reed Business School, Accountancy Tuition Centre (ATC) and London School of Business and Finance. He also regularly presented technical update lectures for professional firms, public limited companies and District Societies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Having previously been a member of the ACCA marking team, he currently prepares students for the examinations of the UK professional accountancy bodies (notably ACCA), in the following subject areas: Financial Reporting, Financial Management and Advanced Financial Management.
