Giovanni Scarso Borioli is Assistant Professor of Operations Management. He teaches also PSDM (Problem Solving and Decision Making) at graduate and postgraduate levels.
After graduating and undertaking a MSc in Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, Giovanni spent three years working as Project Manager; he then started his business studies at ESCP Europe, where he participated to the 2006 edition of GMP (General Manager Program). He is now undertaking his doctoral studies at University College of London in the field of Operations Management.
Giovanni Scarso Borioli is also an active management consultant and he works with international companies in fields such as constructions, pharmaceutical and energy.
His research interests concern the implementation of large-scale change in organisation, and particularly the implementation of lean management; as well as evidence-based management and decision-making support tools. He is also working in the field of sustainability of supply-chains and green supply chain management.
