Emmanuel Zilberberg is Affiliate Professor in the Management Control department at ESCP Europe Paris campus. He specializes in pricing, profit margin optimization and value creation. A graduate of ESCP, he completed a post-graduate DEA in Management and Administration. He teaches Accounting and is responsible for an elective course on “Pricing and Margin Optimization”. Since 1996 he has been an independent trainer and consultant.
His work, based on the principles of Accounting and Management Control, integrates the price parameter which, much more than volume, represents a primary leverage of performance. He investigates the impact of pricing polices on both the activity and profitability of the firm (profitable growth and profit margin). He has integrated in this framework the relationships between pricing policies and balance sheet items, focusing on working capital.
He tries to provide managers with value drivers, other than price decrease, in order to create value for the consumers.
He is also interested in the use of new technologies in teaching.
