ESCP Europe Bachelor to open in Paris

ESCP Europe continues its strategic development and extends its highly successful European Bachelor to France in 2017, two years after its launching in London.

The Chamber of Commerce Paris Île-de-France supports the school by endowing it with the facilities of a second campus (read the CCIR Press Release – in French)

Three questions to Frank Bournois :

1/ What are ESCP Europe’s ambitions ?

Our ambition is to be the best business school in Europe. To achieve this, we have successfully developed a unique integrated multi-campus model, combining excellence in business and intercultural management education. On the basis of its ‘Grande Ecole’ programme, ESCP Europe has developed a complete range of general and specialised training programmes for students, managers and executives This model is a success, as proved by the recent ranking of our Advanced Master in Finance, ranked 2nd in the Financial Times world-wide ranking.

2/ Why a Bachelor in France?

The Bachelor has become a European standard and is offered by our main international competitors. This is why we have launched ours in London in 2015. The programme is a resounding success, and applications have increased by more than 100% for the second recruitement. The launching of the programme in Paris is on the one hand consistent with our European strategy, and on the other corresponds to strong demand by an increasing number of French top level baccalauréat students who wish to start international curricula. ESCP Europe is in a unique position to offer this chance. Bachelor graduates are destined to enter international Masters or MBA. The Master in Management, our flagship programme, retains its specificity in France: students enter after preparatory classes.

3/ What does a second campus in Paris offer?

ESCP Europe is in a dynamic development in order to achieve the critical mass necessary to face international competition. We aim to have 5000 students on all our seven campuses. This expansion also requires that we increase our Executive Education training activities and upscale our incubator. The CCI Paris Île-de-France supports our development by conferring us this ultramodern Campus which will allow us, in downtown Paris, near Montparnasse to offer our programmes in an environment complying with international standards. The organic growth of the school, made possible by the CCIR will facilitate our autonomisation and financial independence by reinforcing ESCP Europe’s business model.
