Apply your conscience creatively

Right now, nine Master in Marketing & Creativity students and one member of staff from the London campus are working hard in the Ugandan capital of Kampala.

Having spent months tirelessly fundraising, this intrepid band of marketers (known collectively as Marketing for Change) are working directly with the Kawempe Home Care (KHC) to help create a sustainable business for future generations.

The UK broadsheet The Independent featured the project this week in an article entitled 'Apply your conscience creatively':

"An increasing number of students were enthusiastic to get involved," says Marie Taillard, associate professor of marketing at ESCP Europe, "so we decided to include the project in the Masters programme because it's exactly what creativity marketing is about. Constraints such as a tiny budget and limited access to resources means you have to be extremely creative. By putting students into these real-life situations they have to do something phenomenal with no resources, and they've responded very positively to the challenge."
