Bean there, done that

Students on the Master in Marketing & Creativity (MMK) programme are participating in a unique new module entitled Raising the Pyramid, in which they put their marketing skills to the test by taking on the role of a marketing consultants to a Ugandan grassroots organisation.

The students were visited by Michael Kijjambu, a Ugandan entrepreneur who flew in from Kampala to share some of his insights into the challenges and opportunities associated with doing business in Uganda. As they prepare for their project in partnership with London-based charity The Great Generation, the class had a chance to directly discuss topics ranging from consumer habits to local regulations and other constraints with Michael  They also had a unique opportunity to taste authentic Ugandan coffee from Michael's '1000 Cups' coffee shop in Kampala.

You can view pictures from the lecture by visiting our Flickr page or via the dedicated Master in Marketing & Creativity Facebook.
