Energy Ministers for Greece and Cyprus to speak at RCEM conference

Yiorgos Lakkotrypis, Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry & Tourism for Cyprus, and Ioannis Maniatis, current Energy Minister of Greece, are both set to participate in upcoming conference '2030 EU Energy Security: The Role of the Eastern Mediterranean Region'.

The conference will take place on 10th December, 2014 in Brussels and will explore the significant discoveries of natural gas in the Levant basin, particularly in the Leviathan, Tamar and Aphrodite fields. The aim of the event is to foster a stimulating debate and reveal key insights on the latest natural gas developments at international and regional levels.

The event is jointly organised by ESCP Europe Business School's Research Centre for Energy Management (RCEM), The Greek Energy ForumNatural Gas Europe and The European Economic and Social Committee.

We are honoured to welcome Lakkotrypis and Maniatis as speakers at the event. The RCEM will be represented by the Centre's Director, Prof. Patrick Gougeon, and Executive Director, Dr. Kostas Andriosopoulos, alongside other members of the ESCP Europe faculty.

ESCP Europe's RCEM will also have a stand at the conference. We encourage you to visit us there and find out more about our energy industry business education programmes offered at the School: the part time Executive Master in Energy Management, the full time Master in Energy Management, and our series of specialised Advanced Master Classes.

"The RCEM's Mission is to build a strong proactive partnership between academia, industry and government, to debate the challenges of the new energy era."
