ESCP Europe is challenging YOU to get creative with the ultimate video

ESCP Europe, the World's First Business School (est. 1819) is challenging YOU to get creative with the ultimate video to promote and raise our profile around the world.

Students and alumni are invited to create a video showing their vision of a truly European school, located in five European cities with hundreds of international academic partners.

THEME: "Old, yet…"

For example, "Old, yet exciting"
Founded in 1819, ESCP Europe is the oldest business school in the world. Your video should reflect that your school is the oldest and, at the same time, the most "dynamic", "innovative", "international" and "vibrant"... This is where you can let your imagination run wild.

Open to all individual ESCP Europe students or groups in all programmes, as well as alumni.

Task: To create a video which enhances the reputation of your school.
Target audience: Students 20 years and older, young graduates with high potential, Managers, Executives, Europe and worldwide.
Objectives: To increase awareness of the School while maintaining its position.

The video MUST contain the School logo, the baseline "The World's First Business School" and the motto of the school "European Identity, Global Perspective".

ESCP Europe is:

  • A prestigious European business school (the oldest, founded in 1819)
  • A school with a high level of expertise

ESCP Europe has:

  • 40 years experience as a pioneer of cross-border business education in Europe
  • A true European and urban identity
  • A strong emphasis on dynamism, modernity, creativity, elegance and respect for the individual

Prizes

  • 1st prize: MacBook Pro (2 max. per team)
  • Prize awarded by the audience (online): iPad (2 max. per team)

Requirements

The video MUST be uploaded directly to the competition site: escpeuropechallenge.com. The file format can be Flash, avi, mov, mpeg, mp4 with a maximum file size of 50MB.

Duration: 1 to 2 min in the language of your choice.

The video must NOT contain any distinctive brand, name or signature other than those belonging to ESCP Europe. The video submitted must be accompanied by the following information:

  • Team leader's first name
  • Status (student, alumni)
  • E-mail address
  • Title of the video

Participants may submit only ONE proposal per individual or group.

Submission deadline

The videos must be uploaded by 10 April 2013 at noon (12pm) at the latest.

Winner selection

Winner will be chosen by a judging panel composed of:

Edouard Husson, Dean of ESCP Europe; Perrine Bichet (MS Marketing & Communication 2008), Product Manager Warner; Sonia Buchman (Media MS 2003), Director, Screenwriter, Producer and Production Manager; Rémi Jimenez (ESCP 1999), Deputy Director General M6 Films; and Stefan Ilkovics (Marketing & Communication Executive MS 2006), former creative Director of Publicity.net and co-founder and chairman of Blondie (Callmeblondie.com).

The best videos will be selected based on: aesthetics, talent, originality, consistency with the image of the School, and understanding the brief.

Another winner will be chosen based on online votes by ESCP Europe students on the gallery
