ESCP Europe London Campus Annual Alumni Party

ESCP Europe hosted its annual alumni party at the renowned Flowers contemporary art gallery in London's west end. The exhibition, 'Colourists: Albert Irvin, Lucy Jones and William Crozier', lived up to its name and brightened our spirits as we stepped inside from a dismal grey, damp evening.

Some 100 people attended, mainly alumni, but also some campus staff and students. For some, it was their first contact with the community for many years. Alumni included our delegates Laurent Feniou (MIM 1994), Eulogion Sanz (MEB 1999) and Navidra Thanabalan (MEB 2007). There were people from the major commercial banks and the EBRD, Sadlers Wells theatre, Allianz, PrePay Solutions, the French Institute, Amadeus, Unilever and others from advertising, headhunting and smaller entrepreneurial organisations. This variety of occupations, together with a mix of nationalities, and also the age range, reflected the enormous diversity of our ESCP Europe alumni community in London.

We were delighted that Rick Connor, our kind sponsor from Pernod Ricard was also able to join us so we could thank him in person for the Mumm Cordon Rouge champagne, as well as Helene Schneider (MEB 2005), who made the original contact with the Flowers Gallery. Compliments also went to Alyson Philips, from our campus cafeteria, who created the canapes.

Shireen Fraser (MBA 2000) and Patrick Gougeon (the London campus Director) gave short speeches thanking everyone, updating on the school and celebrating the good FT and Figaro rankings the school has enjoyed, and Matthew Flowers talked about the paintings and artists represented.
