ESCP Europe Students Invited to the 2011 Franco-British Student Conference

The Imperial College French Society (in association with the Franco-British Connections) would like to invite ESCP Europe students to participate in the second edition of the Franco-British Student Conference 2011, taking place from 18th to 20th of March 2011.

The main theme of the conference is 'Innovation - Views from France and Britain'. It aims to reunite students from British and French institutes of higher education, enabling them to engage each other on subjects related to the creation of value through academic and industrial research, marketing, and political incentives. Through speeches by academic and professional figures from both sides of the Channel, diverging viewpoints will be presented, debated and synergised, allowing students the opportunity to learn from their cross-Channel counterparts.

On our current confirmed list of speakers are prominent academic figures such as Prof. Cédric Villani (Institut Henri-Poincaré - Fields Medal 2010) and Prof. Simon Donaldson (Imperial College London - Fields Medal 1986). We are also expecting speakers from IBM and Bank of America to talk about innovation in their organisations.

Your views, opinions and ideas will form the basis of the content in the conference; you will engage your colleagues and counterparts in debates and round table sessions with the aim of learning from each other's experiences.

PLACES ARE LIMITED: If you are interested, please register as soon as possible.

A total of 80 students will be participating in the Conference: 40 from French Grandes Ecoles and 40 from British universities.

For more information, please visit our website. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us via email.
