After the event: ESCP Europe students meet BPI

On 26th and 27th January, 2012, the Business Performance Institute (BPI), a professional services company providing custom-made corporate education and capability building services to multinational customers in diverse industries, came to the ESCP Europe London campus for an exclusive recruitment event organised by the Students Meet Business Society.

On the Thursday evening, BPI’s three partners and a recruitment coordinator hosted a workshop for a group of ESCP Europe students. Participating students especially enjoyed the productive atmosphere and personal interaction, both of which gave them an overview of BPI's activities as well as an insight into typical projects conducted by the consulting boutique.

On Friday, a two-stage assessment process offering internships exclusively to ESCP Europe students followed. The psychometric test session in the morning proved challenging! Being tested not only on quantitative and reasoning abilities, but also on the understanding of the impact of learning on business performance meant the students had the possibility to prove their in-depth understanding of and interest in this field of business. Based on the results of the written test, students advanced to the interview round in the afternoon consisting of individual interviews with BPI's three partners.

Participants were extremely impressed by the professional conduct of the event, greatly appreciating the useful insights and test experience. BPI expressed their satisfaction with the overall event, mentioning not only the organisation and coordination but also the quality of participating students.

This feedback proves that the student-led career society ESCP Europe Students Meet Business is succeeding in its mission to provide ESCP Europe students with additional and exclusive ways to get in touch with first-class employers, and also in establishing ESCP Europe as a top-tier university with corporate partners.
