ESCP Europe’s Master in Management Programme is Declared the World’s Best

After placing third worldwide in the 2009 rankings, ESCP Europe has been confirmed as this year's best place to study a Master in Management degree.

The Financial Times announced its 2010 league table on 20th September, and with it the School moved into first place for its innovative, cross-border management programme.

"Both change and internationalism are themes typified by ESCP Europe," the FT said.

Our commitment to providing a global education was noted as a key factor in the School's success, with the programme coming in first for international course experience and third for international mobility. The MIM was also praised for the post-graduation careers success it facilitated, with 97% of our 2007 alumni employed within three months of finishing the course.

ESCP Europe's dedicated faculty also stood out: the rankings stated that an impressive 91% of our teaching staff held doctorates, placing the School far ahead of its nearest overall competitor, Cems.

"We offer a unique set of intercultural learning programmes, something that is becoming all the more crucial in a global world," says Patrick Gougeon, Director of the School's London campus.

"ESCP Europe contributes to promoting a pan-European business culture, integrating diversity rather than building standards. Our aim has always been to partake in the construction of the European edifice, while at the same time preparing our students for careers on a global scale. This new ranking shows we are succeeding."

The Master in Management at ESCP Europe is a two or three-year postgraduate programme attended by more than 600 students each year. Participants usually begin their studies with us in their early twenties and are fluent in at least two or three European languages.

Over four semesters of study, students complete a range of core, elective and specialisation courses, research projects and a professional internship. The programme is designed to combine traditional on-campus education with practical and instantly applicable skills, allowing them to move on from their education with more than just a theoretical knowledge of international management.

Graduates leave the School with a Grande École diploma, as well as British, German, Italian or Spanish Master degrees (depending on the countries of study). Aside from the options afforded by our five European campuses (found in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Turin), attendees are also able to study with our broad network of 63 partner universities around the world via exchange programmes.

The business world is constantly changing, and education in the field has to evolve just as rapidly to remain relevant. ESCP Europe Business School is – and will continue to be – a leading provider of business and management programmes.
