Executive MBA: 20 years at the top for international course experience

ESCP Europe Business School’s Executive MBA programme has achieved top international rankings consistently over the 20 years since its launch in 1994, particularly for ‘International Course Experience’*.

Operating across the business school’s campuses in Paris, London, Berlin, Madrid and Torino, together with international seminars beyond, participants have benefited from the business school’s international research, culture and innovations.

2015 will see the start of a new study track in Shanghai in partnership with Tongji University. This will offer participants the opportunity to study their core modules in the Far East as an alternative to the single, double or multi-campus offers currently available in Europe.

In addition, the international seminar programme for Executive MBAs has been adapted with a new version of the ‘Innovation Seminar’ to be held at the Johnson Graduate School of Management - Cornell University in New York. This will offer participants the shared wisdom and experience of local academics, corporates and entrepreneurs.
Improved personalised careers services have also been introduced, as well as a new ‘peer-to-peer’ scholarship designed to help a candidate join the programme in 2015 (amount subject to the collected funds by the Foundation), the jury being composed of the Executive MBA and Foundation directors and an alumni representative.

20th Anniversary ‘Blue Party’ brings together over 250 Executive MBA Alumni

On the 26th September 2014, ESCP Europe Business School hosted a "Blue Party" with a blue theme at its Paris campus. The Executive MBA alumni with, in true ESCP Europe style, over 20 nationalities spent an evening at the School’s campus in Paris. ESCP Europe’s new Dean, Prof. Frank Bournois welcomed everybody, followed by Executive MBA Director Valerie Madon and Dean Prof. Frédéric Fréry presenting the programme’s news, Executive Director at ESCP Europe Foundation Brynhild Dumas, ESCP Europe Alumni’s Deputy Chair Laurent Sachs and the Alumni MBA Club’s Chair Roxanna Bressy who launched the “Peer to Peer scholarship”. The party was then fully underway with the band Melody for Aliens, featuring the alumni association’s Networking Coordinator, Estelle Tréville on keyboards and the ESCP Europe Executive Master alumnae Aliénor Meyer as a leading singer.

Valérie Madon, Director of the Executive MBA, said : “This evening we celebrate 20 years of innovative international business education and personal development for our students and graduates. In this age of globalisation, the business leaders of tomorrow need to be equipped with the international perspectives and exposure offered by a business school like ours. ESCP Europe’s Executive MBA is a unique international programme that raises the bar for our participants’ understanding of cross-cultural management, and helps them to challenge the established practices in their organisations.”
Roxana Bressy (Executive MBA 2001), said “As a member of the MBA club in the alumni association, I was happy to thank my peers for their commitment in making our programme one of the top-ranked in the world. I was also proud to announce that we are sponsoring new entrants to the programme! We contributed to a new scholarship in conjunction with ESCP Europe’s Foundation to help future participants join this international programme. As ever, the MBA community responded generously!”
