Inauguration of the new building on the ESCP Europe Madrid Campus – April 13th 2012

On April 13th 2012, the ESCP Europe Madrid Campus inaugurates its new building in the presence of students and alumni from ESCP Europe and its business and academic partners (the Polytechnic University and the University Carlos III).

The new building provides students and executives with new exchange areas, classrooms, conference rooms but also gardens and a cafeteria. This new space is intended to facilitate intellectual exchanges as well as networking and social events in the school.

ESCP Europe wants to make the Madrid campus a meeting point for student life and not only a place for interaction between professors and students. This environment will enable students to take advantage of the international and multicultural school population (more than 80 nationalities) as well as the diversity of their backgrounds.

ESCP Europe launches its new option “Entrepreneurship” at this occasion, with a round-table on the topic in attendance with:

  • Bruno DELAYE, Ambassador of France in Spain, who will speak about the situation of Spanish companies;
  • Guillermo de la Dehesa, President of the Spanish association and great economist, who will evoke the economical situation in Spain and in Europe and will speak about entrepreneurship in Spain;
  • The Economic Councilor of the Community of Madrid;
  • Students from the course and their professor Sylvain Bureau who will present their analysis of the entrepreneurship system in Spain.
