New edition of the textbook: "Allgemeine Betriebswirtschaftslehre - Koordination betrieblicher Entscheidungen", co authored by Robert Wilken

This textbook investigates coordination as the key element of general management. We present several coordination instruments that are suitable to allocate sparse resources or to manage incompatibilities across corporate decisions. Hereby, we address both intra- and inter-company coordination problems. For illustration purposes, we use the case study of middle-class pump manufacturer 'Peter Pollmann'. The instruments presented before are gradually applied to this case and completed by questions to the reader. The last chapter contains further case study modules that offer the possibility to deepen our understanding of general management. The history of 'Peter Pollmann' will be updated continuously on the internet. All interested readers are encouraged to make their contributions in an online forum.
