Strategy & Management Assistant/Associate Professor

ESCP Europe, the world’s first business school (est. 1819), with campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, Turin and Warsaw, invites applications for a position in Strategy & Management at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. This position is based at our Madrid campus with a starting date of September 2017.

Triple Crown accredited (EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB), ESCP Europe welcomes 4,000 students and 5,000 executives from 90 nations every year, offering them a wide range of general management and specialized programs such as BSc/MSc/MBA/Executive programs. European Departments currently comprise more than 140 colleagues, from different nations; who have varied research interests, backgrounds and methodological approaches. Over the past, our publications have appeared in leading journals such as the Academy of Management, Journal of Business Research, European Management Journal, etc.

The Assistant/Associate Professor in Strategy & Management will be in charge of:

  • Developing and teaching courses in Strategic Mgmt., Organisation & Management, Business Analytics, Project Mgmt., etc for either undergraduate programs (Bachelor in Management), postgraduate programs (Master in Management, Master of Sciences, Master in Business Administration, MBA), and/or Executive Education
  • Contributing to scientific knowledge publishing research in Strategy & Management at leading national and international journals and conferences
  • Participating to institutional activities such as program development and management

We are interested in candidates with:

  • A completed PhD
  • Ability to teach in English and Spanish
  • Very good teaching competence (on site / online)
  • Ability to conduct good research
  • Team orientation to collaborate in multi-cultural groups

We also consider as “a plus”, candidates with:

  • Expertise in Management. Professional experience in international environments
  • Teaching experience in English & Spanish
  • Existing publications in top tier journals in Management
  • International orientation in order to work jointly with other campuses
  • Positively evaluated by ANECA or the competent regional quality assurance agency in Spain
