The new Tunisian Ambassador in Paris: an ESCP Europe alumnus

On the 5th of July 2012, after a lapse of 15 months, Adel Fekih, graduate of ESCP Europe, was appointed to the position of Tunisian Ambassador in Paris.

Adel Fekih holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering (Ohio State University) and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economic. He has recently, in 2009, obtained the ESCP Europe Executive MBA.

He started his career as a member of the Industrial Upgrading and Modernisation Office of the Department of Industry, before becoming a Director in various Tunisian and Multinational companies (COTREL, VALEO, COFAT) and Founder of CREOVA in 2008, a French company specialised in the payment by mobile phone which is highly active internationally.

Adel Fekih was appointed by the President of Ettakatol’s movement to develop relationships and the partnership with European and French instances and political and public figures. In this role, he organised conferences and meetings between the European progressive parties and the Mediterranean area on themes of post-revolution and the construction of a democratic State in Tunisia.

In the current context, his experience, his organisational and communication skills as well as his management of Franco-Tunisian and Euro-Tunisian political records, have naturally designated him to be the new Ambassador of Tunisia to France.
