Understanding and applying Economic Value Added

F&C Investments and ESCP Europe invite you to:

'Understanding and applying Economic Value Added (EVA)'
A presentation by Joel Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Stewart & Co.

Joel Stern (MBA Chicago) pioneered the concept of EVA as a way to measure and incentivise the economic value created by companies. He has written for major newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Financial Times, and appeared regularly on CNN’s Moneyline and Wall Street Week. He is a faculty member of a number of business schools, including Columbia, and resides for much of the year in South Africa.

Stern Stewart & Co. is a management consulting firm based in New York which works with well over 300 companies in the adoption of EVA. Clients have included Coca-Cola, Briggs & Stratton, Siemens, Tate & Lyle, JC Penney and the U.S. Postal Service.

ESCP Europe is the oldest business school in the world, founded in Paris in 1819. It has campuses in five major European cities and its Master in Management programme was voted No. 1 worldwide in the Financial Times’ 2010 Business School Rankings.
