This year, ESCP Berlin will hold the 5th edition of the Entrepreneurship Festival - a festival close to our ESCP heart as it honours Jean-Baptiste Say, one of the founders of ESCP and the person who coined the term "entrepreneur" - often translated as "adventurer".

It comes as no surprise that Jean-Baptiste Say was an entrepreneur himself, a cotton manufacturer. He believed that entrepreneurs are able to create new opportunities and open up new markets out of inefficient uses of resources and capital.

ESCP Berlin, along with 4 other campuses, will hold the Entrepreneurship Festival locally.

To all current and future entrepreneurs/adventurers, this year the Jean-Baptiste Say Institute for Entrepreneurship together with the Master in Management "Option E" (Option Entrepreneurship) students have organised various panels and talks about different topics under the theme:

Celebrating Technology and Innovation in Europe
