Following a logical next step after the success of its leadership trainings on cultural and gender diversity, ESCP now launches the first academic training in Europe addressing LGBT+ specific issues. Developed and conducted in close partnership with RAHM, the global LGBT+ leadership community, the new executive education programme will take place at the School’s Berlin Campus, gathering LGBT+ leaders and straight allies from around the world.

The new international Leadership Training within its Executive Education catalogue is designed to support participants in their personal development and to create an impactful network of leaders empowered to shape their organisation. Therefore, the curriculum combines management subjects like negotiation, decision making and storytelling with others aimed at fostering inclusion. Those include components such as authentic leadership and design thinking, an innovative process in which participants will develop concrete tools to create a more inclusive work environment in their organisation.

Stuart Cameron, founder of RAHM, has been empowering LGBT+ people in the working world with his company Uhlala for the last decade. He commented: “We’re very proud to support this training with our experience and community. ESCP is one of the finest Executive Education providers in Europe and we feel that this training fills an important gap in Europe’s Business Education, towards a more open society which unfolds individual and organisational potential.”

The first edition of the LGBT+ Leadership programme will take place in Berlin from July 22 to 25 and will be followed by the RAHM LGBT+ leadership contest on July 26. For any registration until December 31, 2018 participants benefit from an early bird 10% discount on the regular price of 3.950€.

Applications will be open online starting on November 1st under www.escpeurope.de/lgbt-leadership
