A LOOK BACK AT...
ESCP MBA in International Management hosted the 36th Annual Global Graduate Business Conference and Alumni Summit in partnership with the Graduate Business Forum, held over 5 days in Paris Republique and Paris Montparnasse campuses.
The conference involved MBA student representatives from the top 70 MBA programmes worldwide, participating in numerous events, workshops, panel discussions and conferences with leading business professionals to discuss topics that are central for tomorrow’s leadership such as technology and innovation, diversity and inclusion, or sustainability challenges.
The Circular Economy Chair took an active part in the event, with a panel on “circular economy business models”.
Professor Aurélien Acquier, Head of Sustainability Transition and Scientific co-Director of the Circular Economy Chair, introduced the urgency and multiple challenges of transitioning towards circular economy business models.
Then came the panel discussion with three business leaders of circular economy in France: Eric Soubeiran - Vice President Nature & Water Cycle (Danone); Jean-Denis Curt - Head of Recycling and Circular Economy (Renault), and Jeremie Bouaziz – Director of innovation (Le Grand Reservoir).
Relive the debate here:
“The panel was a great opportunity to show how circular economy generates business innovations in various types of companies and sectors, be it automotive, food, or urban development” explains Aurélien Acquier. “There were also fascinating exchanges with students from the world leading MBA programs on how circular economy calls for reconsidering the mission of the firm, and how to integrate these topics in the MBA curricullum.”
