The consultancy project is a research study that deals with a real and concrete business problem of the Food & Beverage company proposing it and its aim is to supply a result similar to one that a consultancy company would offer.

You will have the chance to meet Managers of the Food and Beverage industry, discussing directly with them the business challenges and learning step by step how the company works in the specific area of the company project (ex. Finance, Marketing, Management Control, HR, Supply Chain, …).

For Partners Companies the Consultancy Projects are the occasion to benefit from the smart ideas and energy of the MSc in International Food and Beverage Management students, and to outsource a piece of project without the money investment required for a traditional consultancy firm.

In addition, thanks to the ESCP Europe Consultancy Projects, the companies of the Food & Beverage sector will have the opportunity to get in touch with interesting profiles for recruiting and employer branding activities.

The aim of the Consultancy Project in this growing sector is to supply a result similar to one that a consultancy firm would offer.

The Consultancy Project is carried out in English by a group of university graduates attending the MSc in International Food and Beverage Management, mixed by education background and nationality. It is an integrated part of the ESCP Europe Master training programme and, as such, the project evaluation (grading). In particular you will work in groups of 5 under the supervision of a “Company Tutor” assigned by the Food & Beverage Company involved. The Tutor will have the task of assisting and guiding the students throughout the project to guarantee the achievement of the set goals. It will also be the Tutor’s duty to supply you with all documents and support necessary to carry out the job.

“Chef for a week” with ALMA La Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana

You will have the chance to be "Chef for a week", learning directly from culinary Masters how to manage complexity and unleash creativity.

Our teachers are very professional and all great in their respective fields of expertise. They currently work or have worked in/with the food & beverage sector. This work experience mixed with their teaching skills is a delicately mixed cocktail of knowledge. «20 years of experience cannot be read in a book» is the most appropriate expression that can be used to describe the transfer of knowledge we are able to receive from our professors. I can confidently say that the ESCP Europe IFBM teaching methods which divide the learning between Theory and Practice is ultimately the most effective way to learn.”

Even more so, I had also hoped that I would not only learn about F&B Management from my professors and experts in the field, but that I would learn from my peers around me. Meeting people from different cultures, and traveling to some of the best and most beautiful places in the world, to learn together and from each other was my highest expectation, and the most fulfilled.”
