Young talents of the ecological transition
A new certificate (20 ECTS), and a new specialisation in the Master in Management: “Responsible Innovation in Africa”

Transforming Africa for a sustainable future by developing its human capital is a prerequisite for an ecological transition. This theme is at the heart of the concerns of the Chair for Responsible Innovation in Africa co-directed by Professors Nathalie Prime and Caroline Verzat.

The chair has launched a new bilingual specialisation (English/French): the “Responsible Innovation in Africa“ specialisation with a first cohort of 18 students, half of whom are students from top tier African engineering and management universities and half from the ESCP Master in Management.

The Chair for Responsible Innovation in Africa thus confirms its ambition to jointly train young talents from Africa and the rest of the world to create lasting connections and foster responsible innovation by combining the expertise of different management disciplines for sustainable transition.

The curriculum for this specialisation includes: Innovative and Inclusive Business Models; Inclusive Supply Chains and Digitalisation; Institutional Innovations for Co-development; Transformational Intercultural Skills, including an Art Thinking seminar concluding with an exhibition at the École Boulle.

Upon completion of the specialisation, students recruited in Africa will receive a certificate from ESCP Business School validating 20 ECTS. As for students recruited in the Master in Management, they will validate a 120-hour specialisation, equivalent to 20 ECTS.
